The Travelling Suitcase Boutique began as a deeply personal journey—one shaped by love, loss, and the lessons shared across generations.

Founder Kati Marson has spent years working closely with both seniors and children, and through those experiences, she’s learned some of life’s most valuable lessons. From the wisdom and warmth of older generations to the wonder and vulnerability of children, Kati has seen how much we all crave connection—no matter our age.

After the loss of both of her beloved parents, that understanding took on a whole new meaning. Kati was incredibly close with her mom and dad, and the grief she felt became a reminder of something universal: sometimes, we all just need a little support—a companion to walk beside us, even in the smallest way.

Kati and her mom always dreamed of opening a boutique together. That dream stayed tucked in her heart, and when the time was right, she brought it to life in their honor. Today, she pours her love, creativity, and care into every item, knowing in her heart that her mom is still right beside her.

At the center of the boutique is something special: Pocket Buddies—small, comforting companions tucked into children’s clothing, ready to offer courage, calm, and companionship wherever life leads. While they were designed with little ones in mind, Pocket Buddies are truly for any age, because the need for reassurance doesn’t fade as we grow.

Alongside these buddies, you’ll find thoughtfully designed children’s clothing that blends comfort with style. Every piece is made to move with kids, feel good on their skin, and help them feel confident in who they are. Whether it’s a cozy outfit for playtime or something a little more special, the goal is always the same: to help kids feel seen, supported, and completely themselves.

Kati is also a proud mom of two amazing children, who inspire her work daily. Together with her supportive husband, they help bring this dream to life—whether it’s packing orders, brainstorming new ideas, or sharing in the joy of watching the boutique grow. The Travelling Suitcase is truly a family effort, built on love, teamwork, and a shared belief in creating something meaningful.
